are a new (since about 1984 :-) phenomenon that would be ignored
at our peril
- Software professionals and
management need to understand what it is and how it affects the
way they do business
- Not helped by faintly "hippie"
associations in some people's minds
- We need clear guidelines
about
- how to recognise particular circumstances
- what to do in those circumstances
